Created over the 1950s and 60s, the series integrates photography and illustration to convey the concept "Atoms for Peace". Each poster focuses on a different aspect of nuclear technology, and the posters are created in a spectrum of languages for an international audience.

The art is striking and beautiful -- check out the neon red element above and the haunting serenity of the nautilus shell and submarine below. Across the series, consistent elements of typography, color and General Dynamics' corporate identity tie the works together, but the variety of the art styles -- from sharp geometrics to softer, painterly renderings -- keeps the series engaging.

The event's theme was centered around propaganda posters, and the exhibit did not disappoint. It was great to see a crop of iconic posters in their original formats and up-close, including James Montgomery Flagg's classic "I Want You" army recruitment poster.
